Pat Remick
Pat Remick is the co-author of "21 Things Every Future
Engineer Should Know" and "21 Things Every Home Inspector Should Know," two professional development books published
by divisions of Kaplan.
Pat is a veteran journalist whose credentials include United Press International in Dallas and

Washington, CNN in Washington, Food Chemical News
in Washington, and newspapers in Texas and New Hampshire.
She also has written freelance articles for a number of media
outlets, including Discovery.com,
and served as the information
officer for the now-defunct U.S. House Select Committee on Narcotics Abuse and Control
in Washington, D.C.
She is the editor of the ALQ/Real Estate Intelligence Report
newsletter for the real estate
industry and a writer for the City of Portsmouth, NH. She also serves as the Coordinator of the Coalition of Communities
funded by Portsmouth and 33 other towns working to solve the education funding issue in NH.
In addition to her non-fiction writing, Pat is currently
exploring the mystery fiction field.
She is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and the New Hampshire Writers Project.
Pat is married to fellow writer Frank Cook. They have two sons.
